Why did you change the prompt payment discount?

You can still receive a discount of 10% on your water bill; however from 1 July 2009 we have changed the way the discount is applied.

 

We made this change to encourage customers to use payment options that help Metrowater to manage costs – which will ultimately benefit all of our customers.  At present, Metrowater is the only water retailer to offer a prompt payment discount.
