$30 CUSTOMER REBATE

All Metrowater metered water and wastewater customers, with an up-to-date account, will receive a one-off rebate of $30.00 incl GST. This will appear on invoices from July until October, under the “What have I paid you? section, on the front of the bill.
The rebate returns the surplus made in 2009/10 to our metered water and wastewater customers.
NEW GST RATE OF 15% EFFECTIVE 1 OCTOBER 2010

From 1 October 2010 all Metrowater pricing will include the new GST rate of 15%. All GST exclusive prices will remain the same. Metrowater charges from 1 October are shown in the table.

Metrowater has been able to limit the increase in prices for the coming year to 1.4%. This means that effective 1 July 2010 Metrowater charges will increase as shown in the table.
